Warranty for Wood Coatings
For 12 months after any ACRYFIN® coating is applied, Blackwater Resurfacing, LLC will repair any surface, at Blackwater Resurfacing, LLC cost, which appear defective and caused by deficient material.
For the following 9 years after, Blackwater Resurfacing, LLC will replace the ACRYFIN® coating product at no costs to the consumer on any coated surface that is defective as a result of normal foot traffic, normal weather conditions or any normal wear for a period of 10 years from the date the job is completed. Blackwater Resurfacing, LLC will furnish the ACRYFIN® ( resin, primer and aggregate ) required to re-coat the affected areas but will not pay the cost of paint, labor, freight, taxes, or other expenses associated with the removal or re-coating of the ACRYFIN® product.
Blackwater Resurfacing, LLC is not responsible for corrosion related failure of fasteners or hardware. This includes fasteners that can potentially oxidize and fail or discolor the coated surface. Blackwater Resurfacing, LLC is not responsible for replacing or repairing any structural parts, fasteners or decking on any surface of any kind.
Acryifin Coastal Coatings does not warrant the failure of ACRYFIN® coating caused by abrasive contact, pressure washing, storm damage or penetration from cutting or scarring of the coated surface. Should the property owner discover any damage to the coated surface, it is recommended that he/she contact Blackwater Resurfacing, LLC as soon as possible to have repair estimate. Failure to notify Blackwater Resurfacing, LLC in a timely manner of any damaged coated surfaces will void the warranty.
What is not covered by this Warranty: Blackwater Resurfacing, LLC does not warrant the design, engineering or the suitability of the structure to which ACRYFIN® coating is applied. Blackwater Resurfacing, LLC does not in any way warrant the texture or the actual color of the ACRYFIN® coated surface. Each purchaser is responsible for determining the effectiveness, suitability and compliance with codes and standards and safety for the use of ACRYFIN® . This limited warranty does not cover product failure or malfunction for any damages resulting from abnormal use, accidents, acts of God, or intentional acts, exposure to harmful chemicals, impact from foreign objects or improper or insufficient maintenance.
Disclaimer of Warranties: Except for the express written warranty contained herein, Blackwater Resurfacing, LLC makes no other warranties, guarantees or indemnifies, whether express or implied, law, dealing, trade or otherwise, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability and implied warranty of fitness for a particular purpose, and all such other warranties are hereby disclaimed and excluded from this transaction. Some states do not allow limitation on how long and implied warranty lasts so the above limitation may not apply. This warranty gives you specific rights and may have other rights which vary. This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with laws of the state of Virginia.
Blackwater Resurfacing, LLC disclaims any and all liability for any personal injury allegedly attributable to any surface on which ACRYFIN® coating has been applied.
Warranty for Concrete Coatings
For 6 months after any ACRYFIN® coating is applied, Blackwater Resurfacing, LLC will repair any surface, at Acryfin Coastal Coating’s cost, which appear defective caused by deficient material.
Blackwater Resurfacing, LLC is not responsible for corrosion related failure of fasteners or hardware. This includes fasteners, rebar, wire or any other material that can potentially oxidize and fail or discolor the coated surface. Blackwater Resurfacing, LLC is not responsible for replacing or repairing any structural parts, fasteners or decking on any surface of any kind.
Blackwater Resurfacing, LLC does not warrant the failure of ACRYFIN® coating caused by previous coating applications, abrasive contact, pressure washing, storm damage or penetration from cutting or scarring of the coated surface. Should the property owner discover any damage to the coated surface, it is recommended that he/she contact the installing Blackwater Resurfacing, LLC dealer as soon as possible to have repair estimate. Failure to notify dealer in a timely manner of any damaged coated surfaces will void the warranty.
